My Story

I am a counselor-in-training with a professional background in immigration services and a deep commitment to walking alongside individuals and families navigating complex life transitions. My work has consistently centered on marginalized and immigrant communities made up of individuals who often carry invisible burdens of displacement, cultural adjustment, trauma, and systemic stress. Through both my professional experience and graduate training, I have come to see counseling not simply as a clinical task, but as a calling rooted in dignity, advocacy, and compassionate presence.

My approach to therapy is integrative. I draw from evidence-based practices while remaining attentive to the cultural, relational, and spiritual dimensions that shape each person’s story. I believe healing happens when individuals feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected, without being reduced to a diagnosis or defined by a single chapter of their lives. My clinical interests include mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and identity development.  I am particularly passionate about supporting immigrants, first-generation individuals, and those navigating cultural identity challenges.
