My Story
Greetings! My name is J. Eric Insignares, and I am a mental health counselor with a degree in psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and a masters in marriage and family therapy from Capella University. I have been a mental health counselor for six years. My professional experience is in individual counseling, youth counseling, group counseling, and marriage and family therapy. My focus areas of counseling are in depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and family systems.
My goal in working with any client is to meet them where they are and collaborate on a therapeutic journey that will help them uncover strengths and process the concerns that brought them to therapy. In having worked with diverse groups of individuals, I have been able to gain valuable perspective on the myriad trials one can encounter in their life. I believe this has helped me to become a better counselor and can help in fulfilling the unique needs of my clients.
