My Story
I am an LPC-MHSP at New Directions Wellness Center, serving as the Clinical Director in Nashville, TN. I have over eleven years of experience as a therapist, specializing in working with children, adolescents, and families. My background includes working with family court, DCS, and juvenile corrections. Before joining New Directions, I spent more than two years providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in a community mental health setting.

I have extensive experience helping children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. As a therapist, I work alongside my clients to help them find a healthier path forward. I am trained as an EMDR I and II provider for the treatment of trauma, and I currently work with children, adolescents, and adults.

On a personal note, I am a longtime resident of Nashville, Tennessee. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tennessee State University in December 2007 and went on to receive my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University–Nashville in June 2011. I became licensed as an LPC-MHSP through the Tennessee Department of Health in June 2020. From December 2012 to October 2018, I served as chairman for the Foster Care Review Board in Davidson County. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and am a longtime Tennessee Titans fan.
